Honoring Dr. Brenard Park: A Life of Service, Adventure, and Inspiration
Marion Woods has a resident with quite the background; Dr. Brenard Park, a husband and father of two, has lived in our community for over a year now and anyone he comes across HAS to know his story and everything he has done, and each time it is told, leaves everyone in “awe”.
For starters, he has visited over 100 countries; the best part is, he visited most of these countries on a mission! In 2002 was when he first started working as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and later became a senior leader with Habitats Global Village program. In this time, he visited 20 different countries to construct homes for including Ethiopia, Chile, and Nepal.
Visiting that many countries is outstanding, but it doesn’t stop there with Brenard! Brenard has written 2 books, studied to get his PhD at Tulane University, speaks multiple languages, and ran for Florida State House of Representatives in 2018!
Brenard is such an inspiration, and we are so lucky to have him as a resident here at Marion Woods! He is still very active, and he is someone you will always see walking around the community with a smile!
